主要从事深水沉积学、层序地层学、油气田开发地质学等方面的教学和科研工作,主持承担国家自然科学基金青年项目、国家资助博士后研究计划C类(含)、四川省自然科学基金青年项目等3项,以及国家油气重大专项子课题1项;与来自德州大学奥斯汀分校、法国波尔多大学、以及丹麦奥胡斯大学的多位学者合作,在《GSA Bulletin》、《Basin Research》、《AAPG Bulletin》《Sedimentary Geology》、《Journal of Sedimentary Research》、《Marine Geology》、《Marine and Petroleum Geology》、《Petroleum Science》等期刊上发表SCI论文20余篇。

研究领域

长期致力于大陆边缘三角洲和海底扇沉积体系研究,先后主持和参与了多个以深水沉积为主题的科研项目,包括国家自然科学基金项目、国家科技重大专项子课题、国家重点实验室开放基金资助项目等;在项目组的带领下,作为团队骨干负责了中海油、中石化、中石油下属深海油气田的多个横向课题,研究区涉及珠江口盆地、缅甸若开盆地、尼日尔三角洲盆地、下刚果盆地等一系列大陆边缘盆地。
