SWPU Student Experiment Regulations
Any student who enters into the lab for studying or research activities has to strictly observe all the rules and regulations of the lab. Must attend laboratory safety test and obtain the laboratory safety admittance qualification.
Students have to get to the lab for scheduled time. Being late or leaving earlier is not allowed. And students seat by number in the lab. Dressed neatly and wearing work uniforms are strongly required.
Students well prepare the lesson before the experiment, know about the experiment principle, and clear the experimental objective, requirements and the procedures. After having been checked by the lab instructor and given a signature in the handbook of student experiment check-in, entrance is only permitted.
Smoking, snacks, drinking and littering are strongly prohibited in the lab. Be quiet and keep the lab clean and tidy.

During the experiment, students should closely observe various phenomena, analyze the results of the experiment and record experimental data correctly. Piecing together data or plagiarizing others’ experimental results is also strongly prohibited. After the experiment, lab reports have to be completed following the requirements of teachers.
Pay attention to safety. Protection coverings are strongly recommended to be worn. Switch position of water and power supply need to be familiar with. And ordinary safety protection methods of chemicals （inflammable, explosive and toxic）need to be well known before the experiment. Instruments and drugs are required to be put in the right place. And the room should be kept neatly. After the permission of the adviser, students can leave the lab.
In order to develop students’ operating abilities and scientific experimental skills, exploratory, researching extracurricular experiments are highly advocated, which are proposed by advisors or students themselves. But it needs to be applied for in advance to the related lab, and will be arranged by schedule after approval.
